Shadow Priest Leveling
Smooth Shadow leveling with a small Discipline dip for mana and a better wand.
How to play it
- Open with Mind Blast or Shadow Word: Pain from range.
- Power Word: Shield yourself on elites or double pulls.
- Mind Flay (it slows, too), then finish with your wand.
- Shadow Word: Death finishes low-health targets, but only use it when you're sure it'll kill.
The five-second rule
Your mana only regenerates normally if you haven't cast a spell for 5 seconds. Finishing mobs with your wand is what makes Shadow leveling so smooth.
Key talents
- Wand Specialization and Spirit Tap first.
- Mind Flay, Shadow Weaving and Vampiric Embrace, then Shadowform at 40.
